Kappa Sigma Fraternity — Pi-Theta Colony

About the colony

Built once. Building again.

Pi-Theta was established in 2008 as a colony of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity — an order founded in 1869 and today one of the largest fraternities in North America, with more than a quarter-million living members. In April 2026 the colony was formally re-established in Conway, South Carolina.

A colony earns its charter. That means every standard — academic, financial, operational, and of character — proven over time, reviewed by the national organization. We think that's a feature. The men joining Pi-Theta now are the founding class of whatever it becomes.

2026 Executive Council

The men who lead it.

Elected by the brotherhood to carry the colony toward its charter. Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship, Service — starting at the top.

A Greater Cause

Kappa Sigma's national service platform centers on the Military Heroes Campaign — support for wounded and disabled veterans — alongside local service. Pi-Theta's service work starts in the Conway community and builds from there.
