The program

Most chapters neglect development. Pi-Theta wrote it into the by-laws and staffed it with alumni, because the men who know Kappa Sigma best are the ones who have already lived it.

The goal is measurable: a positive, lasting effect on the lives, careers, and character of our members, from the pledge process through graduation and beyond.

What it is

A blueprint for developing men, not just processing pledges.

  • Education on how the chapter actually operates.
  • Workshops that build real career skills.
  • Brotherhood activities that deepen the bond between members and alumni.

The pledge program

  • An eight-week curriculum with a hard rule: every pledge is initiated within 60 days of accepting his bid.
  • Anti-hazing by design: no Big Brother hunts. Little Brothers meet their Big at a group reveal.
  • Pledges study the history, pass the written assessments, and serve on a committee of their choosing from day one.
  • Every pledge must be active in at least one organization outside the fraternity.

Development that does not stop

  • Workshops and speakers pulled from brothers, alumni, and national resources.
  • Annual brotherhood retreats built to strengthen bonds and teach a skill at the same time.
  • Programming reviewed twice a semester and updated as members need it.
